SUPPORT

Actively support Computing Science at schools, primary and/or secondary.

We know we need to nurture talent from a young age and inspiring pupils early is key. There are many ways that you could support; talks, competitions, company visits, lessons etc. If you are unsure please reach out and let us help.

PARTICIPATE

Raise awareness of Computing Science.

Take part in our annual #choosecomputingscience campaign. We will provide you with a video and posts you can use on social media. We want to flood social media each year when pupils are making their school choices. To help inform pupils, parents, and guardians of the tech opportunities in Scotland and that Computing Science is a viable, rewarding and exciting career.

COLLABORATE

Knowledge is power.

One off events for pupils with a single organisation can be truly inspirational; however, we can achieve more together. There are many excellent organisations and initiatives working in this space. Where possible, reach out and collaborate with each other, or signpost to each other’s work, so more pupils can access opportunities in Computing Science or participate in more impactful events.

We recognise that not everyone will always be able to commit to all three of our pledges. If you can only commit to one just now that is great and we would love your support by joining our charter.
